Linen Rental

  • Linens may be rented through Oehme Oasis Wedding & Events or through any linen provider of your choice. 

  • DO NOT PLAN TO IRON OR STEAM LINENS ONSITE. If you need to steam or iron linens please do so BEFORE you arrive onsite. This is true EVEN ON MULTIPLE DAY RENTALS.

  • If you have added linens through Oehme Oasis’ connection on your ENHANCEMENT DOCUMENT, they will be placed & ready on the tables prior to your arrival.

    • Your linens, tables, and chairs will be set up based on your exact submitted final guest count.

  • Due to our experience, we do not suggest ordering linens on amazon (or anywhere) and opening them up for the first time onsite, they may be wrinkled beyond belief.

  • If you bring in your own linens you are responsible for figuring out what linens to order. We highly recommend ordering a few extras. Regularly when bringing in linens, families accidentally miscount and then tables are left short. 

  • Table Sizes: Each seat 8 guests per table

    • 5 foot Rounds

    • 8 Foot Tables

  • If Oehme Oasis is not providing linens, don’t forget the following tables: Buffet, sweet treats, gift/guest book, social sip snacks, vendor, and guest tables. — If you ARE ordering them through the enhancement page, these will already be taken care of, at no cost.

  • TIP: BE MINDFUL OF YOUR TABLE DECOR. – As the more you add, the more you eliminate the actual SPACE for your guests. Additionally,  HIGH center pieces make conversing difficult and impersonal.

Decorating

  • Decorating is NOT stressful unless you choose an easily stressed out person to lead the decorating process.  Please don't do that :)

  • Decorating happens quickly and easily when you set up one or two sample tables completely. Then, everyone helping knows what to do without asking lots of questions. 

  • Less really is more. Because there are so many goodies and options out there for couples, they often feel the need to decorate every corner of the venue. In our eyes, that often adds to the stress and isn't necessary. The venue truly is transformed just simply by putting linens on the tables. Please don't stress!

  • If you have rented two days, we welcome you to decorate on day 1, but please don't leave items in the venue that you may need prior to it opening the next day.

  • If you are bringing in your own linens, make sure they are coming with someone who will arrive on time and are NOT packed at the bottom of the car. You can't do much without linens, or much with wrinkled linens… 

  • On average, it seems it works best if approximately 3 friends/family members help decorate unless a wedding planner or florist is heavily involved. The “picture of table decor” hack does wonders!

  • Typically decorating takes about 30-45 minutes if using linens provided by the Oehme Oasis connection are set up prior, and about 90 minutes if outside linens are used.

  • Again, if you are providing your own linens, DO NOT plan to iron them onsite. Even if you have rented multiple days. In our experience if you rent linens (from most providers, not just ours) they will only have fold creases in them. But if you purchase them online amazon or something, they will come EXTREMELY WRINKLED. Please don’t plan to take them out of the package onsite.

The “Share Shed/Silo” & Personal Decorations

  • Items in the Share Shed/Silo are available to use on site, FOR FREE!! — I know - awesome right? 

  • Sometimes couples order or bring too much and don’t realize it until they arrive to set up. But really, less is oftentimes more! Make your wedding day about you as a couple, and not all the “stuff.” Just because you may find a sign for every corner of the venue, doesn’t mean you have to spend money to put a sign in every corner of the venue. –But you certainly can!!

  • Certain items can really stretch your budget. Example: Instead of doing large centerpieces or bigger floral arrangements on every table, consider doing them on ⅓ of the tables and small items/decor on ⅔ of the tables. This will also have a bigger visual impact! *ProTip: Put your flatware on the tables. It isn't an added expensive since your guests need plates/silverware anyway. Plus it will take up more space, making every table appear 100% full, even with the smallest of decor. 

  • Your florist, wedding planner, and/or friends and family will have access to decorate at the time listed on your rental agreement, unfortunately not before. 

  • If you don’t want your decor & wedding vision changed, don’t agree to let “creative Aunt Suzy” help decorate. Seriously, “Aunt Suzy” may do an awesome job… or she may completely wreck your plan. You know what you want best. If she is helping, please remind her that less is more or perhaps provide “helpers” with an image of what you want the tables to look like.

  • Items in the Share Shed/Silo are NOT guaranteed. Things accidentally get packed and go home with another family, things break, etc. However, that doesn’t happen frequently. –Remember to let us know the items you are wanting to use, so we have them set out PRIOR.

  • Table numbers go missing the most. It’s crazy, but people think they are take-home gifts from your wedding! For that reason, we DO try to pick up borrowed decor items following dinner/when the lights dim. **If a guest takes something home, we will need your help getting it returned :)

  • Items in the Share Shed/Silo have been donated by other couples. **Or Ronelle felt she just needed to buy “said item” & adding it to the Share section was her escape when Austin asked, “why do you need that” haha.** Therefore some items may not be your style at all, and that’s ok. We may not have something for everyone. However, if we are able to be of help in some areas, we are happy to do so. Also, if you are willing/able, we encourage you to see what you could donate and pay it forward as well.
